:: Projection locations: Angry Wades,
Smith & Pacific, Empire State Building:

:: Video shot on cell phone with an off the cuff first
take sound track. Another possible manifestation of this project
(quicktime):

:: Text to Tunes (part 2), Sound of a text message,
now with video mixing, this is an idea in the making. Cell phone
text messages letters are turned into notes on a blues scale, at
the same time the notes bounce around the frames of video clips (Max).
sample to come.

the sounds of your text message, more samples to come. This was made
for my final in max (aiff).

:: Preliminary multiple input model.
Needs to be more obvious and not so hidden. This was the model for
testing multiple inputs in actionscript.

:: Home with mom during thanksgiving,
I grabbed the Ethan Allen catalog, and modified it by putting fox
news coverage of troops in iraq on the tv in the scene. The point
of this was to show how I see the behavior of US society while we
are at war. As long as you can keep shopping at Crate & Barrell,
then why ask questions. We are removed for this war. Abbreviated
communication got us there.
 ::
Some options for multiple input scenarios, The Last Supper, troops
thinking, a prisoner in Abu Graiba, Bush on a tv screen. These are
all images we see on TV, we are told what they mean, but what does
it mean to think for the subjects on the screen. It's like an actor
studying a character they are going to become. Of course it could
be a big joke too.

:: Ongoing dynamic story.

:: Input and projection testing

:: Integrated image and text

:: Collecting text messaging with
actionscript.
::
Taped a Shakespeare monologue, transcribed the monologue into text
messaging (recording coming soon).

::
Conceptual representation... Kanye West's statement about Bush during
the Hurricane Katrina benefit, days after the images we see in the
news media show Bush hugging people of color. How do the words speak
to us? How does the image?

::
Conceptual visualizations, hiding of the real story behind speeches
and simple talk.

:: Sexier user experience diagram

:: preliminary diagrams for possible
directions

:: early diagram sketches

:: Cell Phone behaviors...

:: Spring 05 project, text messaging
as therapy.
