Michelle Zacharia is a visual and multimedia designer
and an animator. In her native Indonesia, she has worked in the fields of
graphic identity, print design and multimedia interface. At the branding firm Nuage
Interactive she was part of the team that developed and implemented
identities for IBS group, The Icon residences, Stella Mobili, International
Plaza, Miss ASEAN and Cardig Air. She also worked on various printed marketing
collaterals, web/ interactive design and exhibition design for besides the
above clients such as UNOCAL Indonesia, PetroChina, UnitedCan Company,
APRIL, Jakarta International School [JIS], and more. Michelle has been involved
in designing identity and campaigns for few religious and non-profit organizations
and special events too such as the ONE ministry [Indonesia] and the Jakarta
Praise Community Church [JPCC]. Growing up in a country with various
traditions such as Indonesia has brought richness to the design style she uses
and inspirations to create different types of work in her career. Michelle
adores classical beauty and simplicity in art and always tries to encompass
those two elements into her work. Traveling and Studying in different countries
have made her explored other cultures and helped her in building contemporary
styles out of her own life's experience. She holds a degree in Visual
Communications from KvB Institute of Technology in Sydney Australia,
majoring in Graphic Design and Digital Media. Also currently Michelle is
working towards an MFA in Design and Technology at Parsons The New School
For Design, where she is focusing on the development of narrative / time
based design projects through animation.
