Something Else: Expended Faces

As we had issues like mapping the body here I found this interesting to post.

The indian artist Justin Ponmany uses image merging/stiching to create “expended faces” allowing to see complete round view of a person’s head on one image.

An other interesting work to replicate a person’s body was done by the artist Osang Gwon who took photographs of the bodies of the group members of kean (a band I don’t know…). He took thousands of pictures to glue them on the modeled bodies of the band members. Creative Review also did a interview with the artist.
