NEW YORK CITY

It's a nice day to be a tourist.

Washington Square Park.

One Fifth Avenue.

This is an interesting spot at Astor Place where you can see three starbucks in one shot and there is another one a block away. In the 2003-2004 business pages, I just counted 137 stores in Manhattan alone. This is up 28 stores from last year's edition.

I stopped in at the remote lounge at 20:00 and snapped a few pics. Click HERE to see.

Manhattan Bridge.

Brooklyn Bridge.

I always loved the buildings downtown the best.

City Hall Park

The Woolworth Building, 1913, once the tallest skyscrapper in the world.

Remarkably, this globe remains intact from its previous location in the main court of the World Trade Center. Ironically, it stood (and still stands) for world peace.

See the tiny green lightning bug in battery park.
