Today was pretty laid back, late night last night so just hung around and recovered a bit. Went shopping at the Lotus center, everything there is really interesting and the food is super cheap. Today we went to a Buddhist temple/monastary for monks in an interesting neighborhood. It was actually a collection of temples rather than one large temple, with many smaller temples dedicated to specific desires such as health, money, wisdom, and peace, as well as a much larger main temple with a gigantic fully standing Buddha statue [...]

Today we went to the silk market….it was out of control! Seriously it was like running the gauntlet in football practice.
