TEACHING FEATURES

The
goal of the TYPOGRAPHY STUDIO is to introduce BFA or MFA Design & Technology
students to the basic theory, history and practice of typography. This is
a hands-on beginner typography course in which students also practice giving
and receiving feedback on each other's work and participating in critical
discussions. Assignments
range from composing with type on the letterpress, working with found type
and on the computer, to type in motion and type in 3 dimensional space.
